about Mamta @ Aura Skin Care and Laser

Mamta ;  Licensed Esthetican from  CIABC,  MEP, COE,
Originally, I started off as a professional Licensed Esthetician from Cosmology Industry Association of British Columbia  and became more interested in skin care and went to Medical Esthetics School. I decided I wanted to make a difference and create lasting results in people’s skin so I got my certification as Medical Esthetics Practitioner from The Stenberg College Vancouver BC Canada, bridging the gap between Dermatologist and Esthetician. Recognizing how health is from the inside out, I became interested in alternative/ holistic skin care, not wanting to use damaging chemicals or toxins while still getting science-based amazing results. I have 9+ years experience in Medical Esthetics specializing in safe, alternative, non-surgical, toxin free treatments.

As a Medical Esthetician
As a Medical Esthetician, I don’t do your fluff and steam facial with product. I work with groundbreaking technology to actually change the matrix of the skin—how it lives, breathes and functions through different modalities i.e. 24K Gold, Micro currents, Stem Cells, Natural Berry, Coca, Citric and Pumpkin peels, advance technologies i.e. Laser, Oxygen and hydra treatments,, RF, Ultrasonic ,Gem stones etc. All these things effect your cells which changes how the skin lives—my intention is to grow the skin younger so you look younger…guaranteed!

As Certified Oncology Esthetician

Esthetics is the science of skin health. Oncology Esthetics is a speciality that provides skin care services to cancer patients while they are undergoing treatment therapies or post treatment. The skin, being the largest organ, is affected during cancer therapies. Most cancer therapies have a negative effect on the skin and many patients may not know how to handle these skin changes or where to turn for help. Understanding how to safely and effectively treat the skin, particularly when it is challenged by cancer is paramount to the psychological and physical care of the client. Part of our esthetic treatments encompass massage which has many benefits for people living with cancer, such as anxiety, pain, nausea, sleep and fatigue.
As Oncology Esthetician I am recognized as the first Medical Esthetic Practitioner and Certified Oncology Esthetician in Burnaby/Edmonds area. As a Certified Oncology Esthetician, I am now able to work with cancer patients who have suffered skin problems from their radiation and chemotherapy treatments. I have also just recently completed 2 more advanced skin care courses including Advanced Skin Analysis with training from an international skin treatment expert, Skin Biology and chemical peel as well as in Manual Lymph Drainage massage techniques.

Thank you for your time, With hope that I will get a chance to serve you my services.
